This weekend we’ll be talking about the “storms” of our lives. Sometimes the pain is our own fault; seriously. Our bad choices brought about some painful circumstances. However, that’s not always the case.

One thing I constantly hear people say that bothers me is this: “Why would God do this to me?”

Craig Groeschel had this to say about that kind of question, “Just because God can use whatever happens doesn’t mean he causes everything. God can cause some pain, but much pain–especially that caused by the sins of other people–is not caused by God. He may allow it, but he doesn’t cause it.”

The most important question we can ask in the face of a storm is not “why” or “who”, but “what now?” When you’re ready to ask “what now” God is ready to help you through it.
