The Christmas services at Community offer all of us a very special opportunity. People look for a place to go and attend a Christmas service. What if they were just one invitation away from coming with you to Community?
Here’s a few of things to think about as you invite your friends:
Make it personal. We use Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to get the word out, but nothing, and I mean NOTHING, beats your own personal invitation. Look your friends, co-workers or family members in the eye and let them know how much it would mean to you if they were able to join you for this special Christmas experience.
Make it doable. Let them know we have 5 different services on 3 different days. The options are there…it’s doable. If you’re flexible, go when they can. It’s so important for them to come in and sit with someone they know if at all possible.
Make it EPIC. We’ll help you on this one. Andrew and the team have done an amazing job at putting together a great Christmas experience. Let your friends know how excited you are. Tell them, “Hey, I can’t wait!! You gotta come be a part of this!” And by the way, this is Practical Love (EPIC) in action.
Make it easy. Hand them an invite card with our 5 service times. Don’t ask them to memorize the days/times and address. Put it all right in their hands.
Now, go let them know…it’s time for a Christmas Party at Community!
