Who you gonna call? No, not Ghostbusters!

I was reminded of the importance of hearing someone’s voice. I have a friend going through some stuff and I decided to call instead of just text. We typically text to check in on each other, but I felt I needed to hear his voice…and I wanted him to hear mine.

Do you understand? Calling someone just isn’t done very much anymore, unless of course someone is selling something we don’t want. Seriously, I like texting. It’s more convenient. I can’t always pick up the phone and talk because I might be in the middle of something. However, actually talking to someone carries more weight.

Today, be listening to the Holy Spirit. If He brings someone to mind who needs your special encouragement, try giving them a call. They just might need to hear your voice.
