Will you be there?
This coming Saturday we are having a BIG SERVE opportunity at the Ramona Bowl. We’ll be doing what we can to prep their property for the 100th Anniversary of the Ramona Pageant outdoor play. Anyone can come help from 9am—noon.
Today I thought I’d give a little background as to why we do these sorts of things.
First of all, we love our Valley. Serving gives us the clear opportunity to show our love in a tangible way.
Also, we don’t do this to be noticed or applauded. We just want to demonstrate our care for our community and point any attention toward Jesus.
One last thing…serving is humbling. Serving doesn’t stroke our ego, but it does help us become more like Jesus.
So…are you in?
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45 NLT)
