Will you pray for this?

Last weekend, during our Thursday night service, I got to baptize Juan. We shared his story of praying for guidance… and then he saw my name on his phone and called me. I also told the story on Sunday.

I’ve been thinking about his prayer ever since. “GUIDE ME…GUIDE ME…”

Then I came across a great passage regarding fasting. In Isaiah 58:4-12 there is a great explanation of true fasting…for all the right reasons. Bottom line, when we truly seek God He WILL guide us! Read the whole passage when you can, but for now, let verse 11 encourage you!

“The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring.” (Isaiah 58:11 NLT)
