OK, the vacation is about over and I’m about ready to head back home. I can’t wait to see everyone this weekend at Community! Here are a few of my reflections from the past few days.

 

1-I am definitely a blessed husband, father, and pastor. In all of these areas I feel a very real sense of God’s blessing in my life.

 

2-I’m not close to being “done.” While I’ve been at Community for over 26 years, I still am very excited about our future and think our most amazing times are ahead.

 

3-The future is indeed exciting and this fall will prove to be one of the most significant seasons in our church’s history. I’ll tell you why…..later.

 

4-It is amazing that I can now get away and KNOW that the church is in good hands while I’m away. Our staff is amazing. I’ve always taken vacations, but these last few years I really REST. Thanks team!!
