Would you say this to Jesus?

In my daily reading I came across this story today. A father wants Jesus to heal his son and says to Jesus, “If you can, please help us.”

Jesus’ response is a good one…but the father’s response to Jesus’ words truly resonate with my heart. Read this verse then ask yourself…doesn’t this express my heart at times?

“And Jesus said to him, ‘If you can! All things are possible for one who believes.’ Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, ‘I believe; help my unbelief!’” (Mark 9:23 ESV)

God is not afraid of our questions. We can have faith, even in the midst of our doubts and concerns. We can’t have it all figured out…or have God all figured out. We can, however, take another step toward Him each time. When we do…HE WILL NOT DISAPPOINT!
