You can’t forget this?

When time-change weekend happens, many of our clocks change automatically. However, Saturday night, I will still being going around the house making sure our older clocks “spring forward” like they’re supposed to.

While we’re thinking about the wonderful thing called “Day Light Savings”, I want you to consider this. Several years ago we voted in California to just keep our clocks stuck on Day Light Savings time permanently. It passed easily. However, we still aren’t doing this. By the way, this is not a political blog…so hang in there.

Here’s the point. We all have things in our lives we want to change…and yet…even though we know we’d be better off with this change, we don’t change anything! Why is that??

Change is tough. Sometimes, it’s simply easier to continue to do the dumb thing, rather than creating a new way of doing life. Well, this is where God comes in. He invites us into His transformation process. His offer is truly amazing…and yet…sometimes we just keep doing the same old things even though He has given us all the Help we need to make the change that would most benefit us.

Sorry I’m rambling. If you’ve read this far, here’s one thing I want you to do this weekend (besides change your clocks). Tell God you’re ready for the change He’s been prompting you to make. I don’t know what that is for you. You know! Take that next step of obedience now…and let God do His work in you!
